A separate stop on the journey

Tight Lines has its own place in our family’s Thailand fishing archive. The family confirmed these photographs as Tight Lines, in the Chonburi/Pattaya area, separately from the Hookers Pattaya album.

The opening photograph brings the catch close, with the lake and trees behind it. The rest of this selection widens the view: a red-tailed catfish, the fishing position on the bank and the people gathered around a photograph in the water.

These are the beginnings of our visit story. They show what was in front of the camera; the family’s memories of the session will add what happened before and after each picture.

Three more views from the visit

An angler in a blue top holding a catfish with a pale side stripe and red tail
The broad head, pale side stripe and red tail make this catfish a distinctive part of the album.
An angler holding a pale fish behind a blue-framed padded cradle at the lake edge
A wider view of the fishing position, including the padded cradle and rods beside the water.
Two people in the lake beside a blue-framed net while another person takes a photograph

Look beyond the close-up

The bankside photograph includes a padded cradle and rods beside the lake. The wider water photograph shows someone taking the picture while others are beside the net. Keeping these views alongside the close-ups helps tell the story of a fishing visit, rather than showing only the fish.

Our fish-care introduction explains why the landing and photograph should be planned together. Procedures should always come from the people responsible for the fishing on the day.

Planning your own visit

This page currently records a family visit. We have not yet verified an exact address, current opening arrangements, prices or booking contact for Tight Lines, so it should not be used as a complete booking guide.

Before making travel arrangements, confirm the exact venue and map pin, what your fishing session includes and the rules for tackle and bait. Our first-trip checklist gives you the questions to work through.

About these photographs

Original photographs supplied by the family in the Thailand fishing photo pack. Venue groupings confirmed by the user on 28 September 2026; the Chonburi/Pattaya area is from the supplied family notes. Individual visit dates, photographer credits and full catch identifications remain to be added.

The originals are preserved. The website uses smaller copies with the full image frame retained. Captions describe the photographs without assigning catch weights.
